ON-LINE ARCHIVAL COLLECTIONS

I have been curating an ongoing collection of archival documents on the early history of the Soviet space program which are exhibited on the website of the Cold War International History Project sponsored by the Wilson Center located in Washington, DC.

These are translations of original documents declassified by several different Russian state archives and cover the period 1946 to 1961.

So far, there have been three sets of documents:

• “New Sources on Sputnik”

• “Declassified Sources on Gagarin”
